New Sunday School Club Rooms
Due to a growing Sunday morning children’s club, we are nearly at the stage of starting the refurbishment of the back rooms and attic to create two new rooms. The ground floor room will become a classroom, and the upper room will double as an office during the week, and a classroom on Sundays and evenings.
God has been so good to us regarding finance, and the people of the Church have continued to be consistent in their giving. We realise that times are hard financially at the moment, and we would like to say a thank you to those who have managed to continue to give to the building fund, enabling us to pay for this refurbishment without borrowing.

I have been particularly impressed with the things that God has been doing over the past twelve months, not only in our personal lives, but in the lives of many in our church. Some of those times have been turbulent and often difficult, but as we look back, we have seen what God has been doing. He led us all the way, and we didn’t realise it.
As I was remembering many of these things, I found myself saying to God, “Lord, what you have done is outstanding!” But, when I look at the Word of God I find that He was able to do much more than this. So, I have been asking God to help me to realise that He is the God of the Outstanding, and to stretch my thinking to realise that He can do much more than this!
It is easy to say to yourself, it’s alright for you, but God isn’t doing things like that for me. Well, believe me I have stood in that position too. And do you know what I have learned? Even when it seems that God has forsaken me, I must hold on to my trust that He will do the outstanding thing for me too. And He does!
Let me encourage you as we approach the spring in a very gloomy financial climate, that when money is tight - God is the God of the Outstanding!
Let me encourage you who have prayed over heartaches and difficulties for so long, that God is the God of the Outstanding!
As we move into new and exciting times in Bethel Church, and it seems that this is too big for us - remember, God is the God of the Outstanding!
As you feel weak and incapable to face the task ahead, take hold of the fact that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you, because - God is the God of the Outstanding!
If you have struggled with self-doubt, low self-esteem, or depression, let me encourage you that there is hope because -
God is the God of the Outstanding!
